So we went sledding at Mount Lusby (Big Dirt Mound near a shopping center that has not been finished). Got some good shots of the kids sledding. Below is one of my first attempts at B&W. Please let me know what you think.

Finally got a chance to go to one of Tony’s Basketball Games and what a blast. It took him a little while to warm up and get comfortable in the game. At this age there are tons of whistles as the ref has to call traveling every two seconds. But I had a blast watching my son and shooting some cool shots.

My Daughters Cheer Teams performed yesterday. I shot most of the teams from the Gym. Maryland SuperStarz really put on a strong showing and are getting better and better by the week. I am attaching a link
ICE! @ The National Harbor

So we trekked over to ICE this past weekend as a gift from my wonderful Mother In-Law. We really had a fun time. I got to take the camera and shoot with my new 50mm 1.8 lens. It is definitely a cool lens for portraits but I missed my zoom and had to put the 28-135 back on the camera. This 7D is really growing on me and I learn more and more each day. Hope you enjoy the pictures.
